Sugar & Spice Blush Palette

Hello Beauties!

I'm not sure if I mentioned anywhere but I recently made a cute little Make Up Revolution haul and picked up a few bits I've wanted for a while the first thing being this Blue and Contour palette although, to me, it's just a blush and one highlighter palette.

It's a lot bigger then I expected with 8 pans large in size pans, 6 matte shades and 2 shimmer one a blush(I don't think I'll ever use) and highligher. I would say this palette definitely leans on to the coral side with four of the shades having the 'peach' undertone. I'd say only the two on the left of the bottom row are true pinks! At the moment I'm adoring the 3rd along at the top and it actually reminds me a fair bit of my all time favourite blusher Coralista! I've also been using the top highligher on and everyday basis it's the right amount of tone and shimmer to add that dewy glow to pale skin!

When it comes to application the shades are all very pigmented, a little goes a long way and I generally start small and then build my way up to the desired intensity. Each one is also buttery soft in texture and glide on like a dream. I average on about 6+ hours wear time for blush that averages at 75p each I think it's a pretty good buy, I don't see myself using anything other this for the for seeable future.

Have you tried anything from Make-up Revolution? If so what did you love?

Top 3 Eyeliners Under £5

Hello Beauties!

Hope you've all had an amazing weekend! Today I thought we could chat about my #1 beauty product, the one I can't live without, Eyeliner! Love it or loathe it, I think most girls try it at some point. I've now been drawing a little line on my eyelids since I was 12, which is a whole 10 years, it's fair to say i've tried a few! These 3 happen to be my favourite at the moment.

Essence Liquid Ink £2.50-Essence is pretty new to the market in the UK only available in Wilkinson stores I think, so this is a lesser known brand! I actually picked this 'highshine' version up by mistake as it also comes in 'matte' but I still really like it, The colour is really really dark and opaque and the brush is my second favourite out of the 3, as it's brilliant for thick or thin lines just above the eyelid but for a wing edge/point it's okay, although the bristles of the brush aren't exactly aligned sometimes the 'flick' can look a little messy, It also has a habit of flaking if over layerd it actually started on my hand you can see it in the photo as I went over it a few to many times.  However, it lasts really long time on the eyes and I find it hardly budges, it's also super easy to remove!

Miss Sporty  Studio Lash £2.79- Little bit of a strange name for an eye liner? but this has been one of my favourites for a good few years now and it's all down the that terrifying looking brush, it's really just a long, thin, pointed and bendy piece of plastic but I can achieve any eye liner look! The liquid is also amazing, long lasting and easily removable it doesn't flake when layered either. I'm actually really struggling to find a replacement for this one as I can't find it anywhere! I really hope they haven't discontinued it, its an amazing start off eyeliner for beginners.

Seventeen Tattoo Me £4.49 - This is the waterproof eyeliner of all eyeliners, if you have oily eyes or eyes that tend to water this one is for you! It doesn't move, in face I even struggle to get this off with my holy grail of oil based eye make up removers, and it does make a bit of a mess in the process. However, this doesn't diminish my love for this eyeliner, the most opaque. intense and dark black eyeliner I've come across, but it's most certainly not for the faint hearted, you have to look it in the eye and be its boss or the smallest mistake could mean you have to restart everything. I love the brush again like the essence counterpart for the lash line, but the point in this brush isn't the best either... Perfect for those long shifts/nights out but not one I would use everyday!

I'll let you in on a little secret, I've always pre-drawn my eyeliner very lightly with the Miss Sporty one as it's perfect for EVERY type of flick/thickness/cat eye and then I go over it with whatever other eyeliner I want to use depending on the effect I'm after. It's a really handy little tip and will save you so much time in clean up.

What's your favourite Eyeliner?

Hello Beauties!

Today I wanted to post something a little different but I feel like it's something really community related and that everyone can get involved in! I am a huge Instagram fan and I think I will be for the for see-able future. One thing I really like about it is the community revolving around the beauty industry it's massive, and people are continually adding to it making it a bigger and more beautiful place every second, which is something impressive in it's self.

My plan is to get as many people as possible to use this hashtag #glitterinfatuation so I and anyone else can take a look at what you've created weather it's blogging, photography, if your an MUA, or SPFX artist, a haul or if you simply want to ask a question anything at all, I want to see everything. I feel it will also be an amazing place for people to get to know each other too, talk about products, read reviews and general chit chat. I suppose a little bit like a twitter chat but just continual and round the clock!

Another thing I am going to do as a thank you is feature(not a shoutout)  people/work/reviews ect. on my insta during the week and at the end of the week I'll do a round up post of anything that catches my eye! I'd love it if we could make something out of it and be one of the first beauty communities on instagram! Feel free to like share and comment and if you followed my twitter link give that a RT too! So all you really have to do is use the hashtag #glitterinfatuation just like you would #bbloggers or something similar and check it out from time to time just like you would any other hashtag!

Lets do this ladies!

No Bump Bobbles!

Hello Beauties!

I'm got a week off work so that means getting back on top of blogging! Just recently I was contacted by the ever so lovely people at 'No Bump Bobble'  who asked me if they could pop a few bobbles in the post for me of my choosing but as always I like a surprise so apart from telling them I love glitter(obviously!) I let them choose and in all honesty I am so happy with what they picked out for me. I don't think I would have chosen better myself!

I actually got 5 bobbles but I've not taken a this one out since the day they arrived, and it's in my hair as I type! No bump bobble pride themselves on being the hair bands that leave no anoying 'bump' when taken out. I for one know how annoying this can be, having straight long hair a normal hair band would cause bumps and waves however these leave no marks what so ever. They are also incredibly comfortable, I can't sleep without tieing my hair up and out of face so when I've blow dried it before bed it's essential I'll wake up at 5am with ready to go hair, these bobbles do the job perfectly, I couldn't recommend them enough!

I'd also like to add the people over at No bump bobble are super friendly and informative, they kept me up-to-date with my parcel and were generally lovely people. I can't tell you enough how much I appreiciate good customer service and this company provide that! They also sell headbands and the most adorable handbag pompom's that I've got my eye on!

On a little side note I've started a new hashtag on instagram #glitterinfatuation and I would love everyone to take part, I'm doing it as a way of spreading the love in the beauty community with no limits feel free to tag anything beauty related and over the week I'll be featuring anything that catches my eye and at the end of the week I'll be doing a little round up post! I'll write a longer post about this for Wednesday so keep tuned!
