Hello Beauties!

Back in August me and my lovely mother took a short holiday to Brighton, I honestly loved every single second, and would go back there in a heartbeat! I had such a wonderful time, the whole place was so different to the busy, concrete town I live in and being by the sea put me at ease. I really hope you enjoy these photo's as I had so much fun taking them.

Have you ever been to Brighton?

Butterbear Lush Review

Happy Sunday Beauties,

One thing I absolutely adore when when the weather gets colder and the nights draw in faster is a candle lit and indulgent bath! At the moment Lush has been coming out tops with it's autumn/winter collection and I for one have been utterly enthralled by it!

This was the first time I'd actually picked up a bath bomb as I am more accustomed to the bubble bars, but I was totally surprised with this little Butterbear! The first thing that drew me to him was the cute little shape you can't help but 'aww' when you see him!

The scent was something I never normally go near, vanilla. I usually really dislike anything Vanilla scented but along with the cocoa butter and very delicate floral ylang ylang oil this makes for a delightfully soothing bath. When placed into the water this little bomb fizzes away rather quickly and the small chunks of cocoa butter are released and begin melting away leaving your bath water super soft, milky in colour and super soft too touch. I did realise once of out the bath that the cocoa butter actually really moisturises my skin and it stayed that way throughout the day but not at all greasy.

Overall I really really loved this bath bomb and it's on the cheaper side then most at £1.95 which I think is great if your like me and have yet to try a bath bomb!

I really would love some recommendations on what lush bath products other people like? as although I love the sweet scents I would love to try more!

Cherry Diva Statement Necklace Review

Hello Beauties!

I hardly ever get the chance to review jewellery, but as you can tell from previous photos I have a lot of it and aside from make-up it's one of my favourite things in life, I also like to use it as props in other blog posts as well as eye catching statement pieces to wear. So when the lovely people over at CherryDiva asked me if I wanted to review one of their pieces I couldn't refuse!

The statement necklace I was sent, 'Black Dahlia' is a absolutely stunning piece at first I thought about photographing it on me but I felt what I was wearing/my hair/pale skin was disguising this lovely necklaces so I just photographed it on its own and in its glory!

Black Dahlia is three linked together 'flowers' with black and clear jemstones creating a super eye catching necklace that will stand out against any colour and any outfit choice. Backed on to beautiful gold wiring this necklace is held on a really sturdy black twisted yarn with the classic c-shaped clasp I really like this detail as it adds a little bit of an edge to an otherwise super girlie necklaces.

Another great thing about Cherry Diva is the price of the necklaces, ranging from £1 - £15 there really is something for everyone. They not only sell necklaces but earrings, bracelets, watches and other accessories!

Make-up Revolution - Redemption Essential Shimmers Palette

Hello Beauties!

Has anyone else noticed Make-up revolution have taken over the beauty world by storm?! I certainly have, and I've been picking up bits and pieces here and there to test them out and see what I think.

I picked up this Redemption Essential Shimmers palette a week or so ago so I've had a good amount of time to test it out and see what they are like, I really like palettes and will always choose them over mono eyeshadows, because I like the simplicity you can transport 10+ shades with utter ease and I noticed particularly with this one the packaging is sturdy, I don't think I'll worry about it opening in my make-up bag which is nice!

In this palete there are 12 shades ranging from a pale champagne to a deep brown, all of the shimmers. Usually I am strictly a matte eyeshadow kinda girl but I was super drawn in by the last 4 in the top swatches, This time of year I crave those super orange and bronze tones that we all relate our favourite autumn months with, with blue, brown, hazel eyes these colours make them pop! The texture of these eyeshadows is also something to be noted, buttery and soft they glide on with ease, with a tiny amount if any fall out, blending them was also a dream! I'm a massive advocate of 'once you think your done blending, blend some more.' and these stand up to that task with only a few touch ups here and there.

Overall, I think I'm going to need every palette make-up revolution sell and that's a lot, constantly bringing out beautiful shades and collection for us to indulge in as the price of these palettes won't break the bank, at £4-6 a pop you can't  refuse them, even at the end of the month!

What's your favourite Make-up revolution palette so far?!

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain - Shanghai Sizzle

Hello beauties!

I feel like I've not reviewed a lip product in ages but I did a few weeks ago, anywho, I picked this pretty lipgloss/stain a good few months ago now and I'm still totally undecided.

At first I fell in love with the super sleek packaging something about the black box shape and black outline makes it really stand out, it almost doesn't look real in the best way. with it's twist off lid and doe foot applicator it's also pretty easy to use and when done up tightly there is no fear of it leaking!

The colour that appealed to me most was this gorgeous bright red called Shanghai Sizzle which originally looked more blue toned(my lipliner must have been blue toned) but actually it's very orange but still really complimentary to my pale skin. The stain itself is thick but easy to apply, I didn't have to double dip which was nice and a few swipes were enough to cover my lips, just pay attention to the outline as I feel if you mess up here you'll probably have to start over, this stuff is like glue!

Overall I found it quite sticky, but once on the lips it feels balmy but the finish is stunning, glossy, plump and bright but sadly you will have to wear you hair up on a windy day with this one! I also found it got went everywhere I'm not sure if anyone else experienced this as I've not read any other reviews yet but it went everywhere, it didn't end up all over my face just all over everything else, my hands where covered, my fiancĂ© was covered and any drinks I had where also covered however, I did find this didn't make a dent on the longevity maybe I applied too much? It still lasted a good 5 hours in central London and maybe a few more with a good lipliner. The stain left behind wasn't as bright as I'd hoped a fairy deeper red then the gloss but I still wear this weekly as I love the finish and how long it stays on for!

Have you tried any colorstay moisture stains? If so what did you think?

Paul Mitchell Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner

Hello Beauties!

Just a quick message before I start I'm really trying to improve my blog at the moment so I would love some feedback on the photo's and writing!

The lovely people over at sent me this amazing duo Paul Mitchell Color Protect shampoo & conditioner*. The first thing I adore about this set is how it looks, the bottles remind me of something you would see in an expensive hair salon and a handy little trick I also noticed is sometimes when bottles like this you can get confused which one is the shampoo and which one is the conditioner however while your struggling in the shower all you have to do is look at the top! The shampoo is orange and the conditioner is white! I really think that's a genius little touch.

The shampoo - The first thing I noticed was the smell, this one smells almost like suncream which happens to make sense as it provides intense UV protection  but don't let that put you off as it is gorgeous and has beautiful floral and citrus notes. The consistency is thick and I would probably suggest lathering this in your hands before you apply to the hair as it can be a little tricky and if you have thick hair like me it's probably best to divide it down the middle so you can get a really good cleanse. After using this I washed it out and my hair was squeaky clean and ready for some moisture!

The Conditioner - I'll start with the smell on this one too, It's very similar to the shampoo but softer and more citrus. It contains sun flower oil to help with repairing sun damage which is one of the main reasons hair colour fades! The strange thing about this duo is the shampoo you feel like you need to use a fair amount but the conditioner you only need very little. A small amount of this beauty goes a long way and the second you put it on to your hair you can feel it get to work!

Once out the shower, hair blow dryed I could really take a look at how well they worked, my hair looked amazing, recently I dyed my natural brown to a bright red and lost a ton of shine I then dyed it dark brown and found the same thing happened this duo however perked my hair up considerably and the shine was beautiful, I also noticed it was easy to brush and there were no knots which is something I'm used to battling with as my hair is all one length and although I wasn't sure about the smell my hair smelt amazing, no trace of sunscreen just gorgeous, fresh out the salon scent my fiancĂ© even said it smell amazing!

Have you tried anything from Paul Mitchell?

Degustabox September 2014

Hello Beauties!

As you know I am a MASSIVE fan of these Degustabox monthly food boxes and this month I was so impressed, I've waited a little long to post this one as I wanted to try most if not all of the items so I could tell you in more detail what they are like!  (or maybe I just like food.) Let's see how many times I say 'Delicious' in one post.

Burts Lentil Waves - Can you believe these have been invented and can I just say, how delicious can a lentil get!? I really enjoyed these crunchy, full of flavour and healthy. Bonus, Flash cooked in a Devon kitchen.

Jordans Simply Granola - Probably the best plain granola I have ever eaten, naturally sweetened with honey these are delicious with vanilla yogurt and provide a healthy and super filling breakfast/lunch. I honestly think these would make amazing flapjacks too!

Pick Up - I'd never heard of these but trust me when I say they are GOOD, it's like a chocolate bar between two biscuits. the chocolate is like a chocolate bar not the usual 'soft' chocolate biscuit middle. Grab a cuppa and a packet of these and your afternoon is sorted.

Elizabeth Shaw Dark Chocolate Thins - The first thing I noticed about these gorgeous thins was the smell, I'm sure we all recognise that after a certain time, after dinner chocolate but these are stronger with less sweetness the bitterness of the smooth dark chocolate really compliments the sweeter minty flavour. Delicious!

Little Miracles - Okay, I love these. I love them a lot. The green tea one is my absolute favourite, they are incredibly healthy, less the 90 calories, sweetened with agave and free from  atificial colour, flavours and sweetners. Just what I like to hear.

Crabbies - These are also so yummy, The lemon and ginger is none alcoholic and the zesty lemon is, perfect for when your watching a movie on a Saturday night, I actually didn't try these myself as I passed them onto my fiance but he seemed more then impressed and drank them both within 2 hours. Touche crabbies.

La Vieja Fabrica Marmalade - Come on now, how pretty is this packaging? It even won a great taste award in 2011! The recipe is over 170 years old how amazing is that? I won't be eating this one though as I'm going to give it to my mum she will love it and probably place it in her kitchen display with the other 'special jams' to look pretty and of course use on those special occasions!

Carnation - This is pretty amazing, You can add it to any savoury dishes to make it creamy including curries and quiches, I mostly see this spiralled on top and tomarto soup to make it look fancy and taste amazing. I also think this would make a gorgeous base for carbonara!

Righteous Dressings - Last but not least we have these super cute salad dressings. I think these are so clever I always buy bottles of salad dressing open it once and then throw it away as I never use it all in the given time. These are perfect for one time servings and there is no wastage in my flat! No additives or preservatives these taste salad dressings are a winner in my books!

So all in all I hope you can see why I was so so impressed by this months box! So many different types of foods and drinks I love being able to try something new in the food world and I would highly recommend this box to anyone with an open food mind!

If you want to check them out your self I'll put all the links here;

Autumn Candle Wish List #1

I don't know about you but I adore candles in the autumn/winter time, In fact I hardly burn them in the summer as something just doesn't feel right about it, Snuggling up with a big fluffy blanket, movies. hot chocolate and of course a warming and spicy candle. I like that this year a lot of fruitiness has been added to them as I feel it can slightly lift the scent making it great for day time and night. The Kringle 'Autumn winds' and Flamingo Candles 'Cinnamon Appleberry' sound utterly amazing!

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar Lush Review!

Hello Beauties!

If you know me at all, you will know I love winter, Warm coats, Snuggling on the sofa, Movies, Hot chocolate and of course the Lush Christmas range! I do really love Lush but the past few years I've saved all my buying for around Christmas time it's become like a tradition and it's when all my favourite products and sickly sweet scents are released.

The first thing I've snapped up happens to be my most favourite Lush product ever, The Candy Mountain bubble bar! I get excited to see what it looks like every year as it changes, last year it was pink and green if I remember correctly, This year it's pink and white swirled with white spots and its covered in glitter! I don't really like the idea of the glitter as I usually use this bubble bar on a Sunday night not before a night out but for the scent and the bubbles I will suffice!

I don't have a massive bath in my flat so I tend to use only half a bar at a time, and crumble it under hot water to create a gorgeous silky bubble bath with lush pink water. I think I enjoy the water changing colour more then the bubbles sometimes! The smell hits your nose before you've even opened the package and once incorporated into the water the sweet vanilla candy scent travels throughout my whole flat. My skin is left feeling silky soft and smelling divine!

TIGI Bed Head Superstar Blowdry Lotion

Hey Beauties!

Today I've got for you one of my all time favourite hair products. TIGI Bed Head Superstar Blowdry Lotion! I picked this up on a total whim about 6 months ago and I've only started using it in the past two months but in all honestly I don't think I could live without it now my hair just doesn't look or feel the same.

The beautifully designed bottle is so intriguing but looks absolutely gorgeous perched on a vanity or sitting next to your bedroom mirror with its bright purple eye catching colour. The lid is similar to one you would get on a water bottle you pull it up to open and down to shut it tight I've taken this in luggage bags and have had no problems with it leaking.

I currently use this everytime I blowdry my hair which happens to be every other day. When my hair is around 40% dry I put in my Got2Be hair oil then this gorgeously smelling blow dry lotion, I will say the consistency is really unusual but don't be put off by it, its watery but almost sticky at the same time. I apply it to slightly higher then mid-lengh but no where near the roots and massage it down towards my ends.

Once you blow dried(I always use a round brush I feel the outcome is always better) your hair is gorgeously silky soft and prepare to make people envyious of the volume, While it does help with the 'lift' area of volume it's not extreme however it does really thicken your hairnand make it look like you've got twice as much. I honestly would be so lost without this lotion,

These are the effects I get on my thick, long and dyed hair so take that into account when using it if your hair is thin I would definitely try it but start with a tiny amount and work out how much is suitable for you. I go my normal 2 days without washing my hair even when using this so it makes no difference when it comes to 'gressyness' for me.  I got mine in a wholesalers close to where I live but I've found it HERE on Feel Unique for you beauties!

Will you be giving TIGI Bed Head Superstar Blowdry Lotion a try?
