We had other plans so we quickly had a look round and I snapped a few photo's. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes markets it was super busy so next time I go I think I will go on a week day.

Have you been to Borough market? What did you think?

Everyday Luxe Candle - OAHU

Hello beauties,

Today I thought I would do another candle review, I just want to add before I start that these 'Everyday Luxe' candles are hard to come by, I haven't found a website that stocks them and the only place I can pick them up(for a great price might I add) is TKmaxx and Homesense but they go mega quick so if you see one, snap it up!

If you know anything about me you will know I am obsessed with Bath & Bodyworks and this was one of the thing that initially drew me to these candles, the shape of the candle and the glass it sits in to be precise before falling in love with this one I actually smelt one called 'peach & apricot' and I'm still kicking myself for not picking it up as when I went back it was gone!

This scent is called Oahu and on cold sniff I fell in love! I can smell all different topical fruits particularly guava and passion fruit it kind of reminds me of a Rubicon drink. I can also smell subtle berry hints, but the best thing about this candle is when it is lit the smell instantly fills the room, we live in a little flat and this literally makes the whole flat smell amazing in a matter of minutes. The smell isn't too bold or headache inducing(which is one of my bug bares) it's just a lovely, comforting, fruit scent which is super relaxing and everyone who walks in comments on just how lovely it is.

The candle it's self has a 60 hour burn time which I agree with, I think in total on and off my last one lasted a good 3 weeks with it being lit just in the evenings. The Flames burn really high and it burns so so evenly, no need to wait an hour plus to blow it out. Overall I am in love with these candles and for an amazing £6.99 you really can't go wrong.

I'm thinking I might do a post on how to find the best candles? Would anyone be interested?

Schwarzkopf Got2be Oil-licious

Afternoon beauties,
I've been looking for a new hair oil for a while now, and I didn't want to spend an absolute fortune on a teaspoon amount of product. So while I was doing my usual lap around superdrug I picked up three different hair oils all around the £3.00 mark. I was comparing them all and ended up choosing this offering from Scharzkopf Got2Be range.

Now as we all know, once hair is split and damaged there is no magical cure to bring it back to it's healthy state, so you are left with two options, cut it off or cover it up(by closing the cuticle, oils are great for this.) I first picked this up as I was drawn the 'argan oil' slogan on the front and 50ml for £3.00 is not a bad deal at all.

There are a few ways of using this but my favourite ways are before getting in the shower I cover my hair and massage it in well, then continue with shampooing and conditioning. I find this makes my hair incredibly silky and much easier too brush once it's washed. If I don't do this and I'm feeling a little lazy I wash my hair and towel dry it till it's about 40% dry, I add two pumps smooth it into my lengths and ends I then blow dry. Not only does this stuff make my super thick hair dry really fast but it leaves it smooth and all spit ends look as if they are gone! I use this almost everyday and it doesn't make my hair look greasy or dirty which is a massive bonus.

What's your favourite hair oil?

Chicwish Wishlist #1

Hello beauties,
I've fallen in love with a website called Chicwish, It's been floating around the bloggersphere for a while now. Don't get me wrong I love to shop in the conventional shops, topshop, new look ect. but every now and again I'll find an online shop like this that just screams, me! I only ever wear black clothes, don't ask me why I only feel comfortable in black, not just because it's slimming but it's my favourite colour(creepy chick), I like to keep my style simple and causal but with girly details I suppose without intention I look a little gothic. I adore lace and embroidered details too and this website just nails everything. I don't normally post anything fashion related but I am trying to spread my blogging wings a little and get into it more. If you want to see more of my odd fashion sense I might stick up some OOTD's!

What's your favourite Online shop?!

Baker Days Letterbox Cake

Hello Beauties,

Yesterday something wonderful came through the door. A cake! The lovely people at Baker Days offered to send me one of their lovely petite letterbox cakes, These cakes are great for birthdays, congratulations and anniversary, what ever else you can think of as they can be personalised with what ever you wish on the front. I personally think these would make the loveliest gift to a couple for an anniversary as there is just enough for 2 maybe a little bit more!

When the cake arrived in a really little box I couldn't believe it would fit in there but it does, upon opening the box I was greeted with a lovely little tin with the words 'thank you' on top, some balloons, a party blower and a little note. I think the little touches this are so lovely.

The cake it's self was a really gorgeous and moist vanilla, topped with a thick layer of fondant that's really sweet but as the cake has no filling I find it was needed. My favourite part about this whole cake however was it came with my blog logo on it! How magical. I could imagine getting someone something like this for a blog-aversary! I will just add they come in a few other flavours including chocolate and fruit cake yummy!

Baker Days have also started to sell cupcakes, which look so delicious! I can't believe how many different style there are.

What's you favourite flavour of cake?

Polka by Primark

Hello beauties!

I thought I would pop up a quick Sunday review of this lovely little perfume I picked up for £2 yesterday in primark. The first thing I liked about this perfume is the packaging I think it's so cute, something you could easily find in zara or somewhere like that, at the moment it comes in two different quantities this 10ml for £2 and a round bottled version for £6 both really great deals.

I've read online and heard from other people that this is a perfect dupe for lady million, I adore a good smell-a-like although, I've never smelt lady million but I think this perfume is amazing! When you first smell this perfume wet on the skin or just in the bottle it's a strong floral scent that manages to rise to the top now don't get me wrong it is strong but it still has a feminine footing. I also get a hit of something sweet, almost like a maple syrup scent which cuts through the floral, I can also smell a fruity note but can't put my finger on whether its a berry scent or citrus as it's not a competitor with the two top notes.

Once dry this perfume mellows, the floral dies down and the 'maple' scent I mentioned rises to the top notes it becomes much more woody and earthy but you can still smell the floral so it remains girly. It also stays on the skin for a super super long time which for £2 is a massive bonus.

Overall I really like this perfume, who knew primark would have such a good perfumes? There is a few others I've seen such a others called cest chic and midnight kiss which I am also excited to try!

What's the most surprisingly good perfume you've ever come across?

Maybelline Matte Maker

Hello beauties,

Oh superdrug, how you entice me with your gorgeous shelves stocked endlessly with beauty lovers goodness. I haven't really been able to pick up little treats like this for a while as I've recently moved and money is precious when you've got bills to pay however, a few things really intreged me with this item and it was straight in the basket!

I think this product is fairly new as I've not seen it mentioned anywhere, or even seen it while browsing for the essentials. The first thing that drew me to this powder is the colour! Hello none yellow toned powder for pale skin! This one is called 'Classic Ivory' and in terms of colour match for my fair skin this is perfection.

The Powder is encased in a twist off lid plastic compact which I also really like, when they come attached I find I always break the lid off and then loose it resulting in a massive mess. It feels sturdy and durable which is also good it's also a impressive size probably the same as the collection or rimmel matte face powders.

When applied it's holding powder is fantastic, I applied my make-up at 11am in the morning and it was still there when I got home at 7.30pm after a strenuous shift at work. It also gave a lovely matte look no visible shine(although I must add my skin doesn't get 'shiny' make up just tends to slip off due to oils). The only problems I have with this is the powder is so finely milled so it provides a lot less coverage then I would like but it does 'diffuse' any imperfections, another thing I would like to add is it needs to be used with care, not much or it can look a little chalky it also settled in the creases under my eyes which I've never experienced before.

Overall I think this is a winner winner chicken dinner! If your looking for matte perfect make-up this is definitely the one for you it also has an amazing price tag of only £3.99! I'll take four please! Don't hold me to this but I think it also comes in 3-4 different shades so there should be something to keep everyone happy!

What's your favourite face powder?

Yankee Candle - Garden Sweet Pea

Afternoon beauties,

We bloggers love a Yankee Candle don't we? My aunty actually brought me and matt this one as a moving in present and it just so happens to be my favourite scent.

I love the colour of the wax in the jar as it fit's perfectly into any room in my flat (everything is white, with hints of blue and teal). Back at my mums house she grows sweet pea's and out of all the gorgeous flowers she has sweet pea are my favourite, they smell so fresh and unsurprisingly sweet which is translated so well in this candle. There is a also a delicious fruity hit within this beauty, with undertones of peach and pear, I am a huge fan of anything pear scented. With 60+ hours of burn time I can see me using this throughout the summer. When lit it's throw it beautiful and delicate not nose hurting and headache inducing like some, it fills our own albeit small flat but in a gorgeously gentle way.

I also wanted to add that I think Yankee Candle are extremely on form at the moment, I was just browsing the website and all the new gorgeous scents they are bringing out really get me excited for summer! Especially Sweet Apple and Orange Splash I can't wait to get my hands on them!

What's your favourite Yankee Candle?

Cut Make Trim Satchel

Hello Beauties,

I was recently contacted by the company CUT MAKE TRIM who very generously sent me over a bag of my choice for review, Cut Make Trim are a company who have a homely workshop in Dalston and sell the bags in our own London's Covent Garden.

The bag I finally settled on was the 11.5" in powder blue(most bags come in over 25 different colours! wow), something about this colour struck me as being summery, light and extremely easy to wear as I often wear black it's the perfect pop of colour. The website is pretty new and is super simple to navigate, simply pick your bag, the colour and checkout it couldn't be simpler p.s it's also free delivery!

I have to say I adore this bag and have been given so many compliments since receiving it. The workmanship that has gone into this bag is second to none and I feel it's going to be super hard wearing and long lasting. The only downside I would say is the interior, it's naked no cover on the inside just the suede like underside of the leather. I'm not sure if it's just because I've never owned a leather handbag but I feel it would be super hard to clean the inside without having to shell out on special equipment/products.

Overall I do really love it and I can see myself sporting this powder blue pretty all summer. I also wanted to add it's much much lighter in weight then I assumed it would be which is also a massive bonus. I highly suggest taking a look at the other bags they have, I'm slightly in love with the saddle bag in neon green, swooon!

What do you ladies think?
