My Top Three Perfumes

Hello beauties!

Here's a little unknown fact about me, I love perfume. I love it a lot in total I've counted 24 in my collection, I adore every single marc jacobs perfume to the moon and back but they are a special treat I also adore the perfumes in Zara 100ml+ for around £10 don't mind if I do! But today I wanted to share with you my top three perfumes and why I love them so very much.

This perfume hits my heart strings, I first fell in love with this while walking round The body shop about 5 years ago with my mum, I remarked that it smelled very familiar and she told me when I was a baby she used to dab a tiny bit on the top of my head so I always smelt good. Cute Story. Now I wear this whenever I have a shower or bath and it makes me feel clean and soothed. The smell itself is incredibly soft, musky and floral with notes of rose and lily.

Oh Daisy! I adore this perfume in the spring and summer it's super light, floral and delicate. Me and this perfume get on so well the smell just sort of suits me, it blends with my natural scent so well and I'm forever getting compliments when I'm wearing it I think on and off I've been wearing this perfume for about 2-3 years. Top notes of strawberry, violet leaves and pink grapefruit which is unusual as I don't smell fruit when I smell this, Heart notes of Jasmine, violet and gardenia which I totally get especially the jasmine and gardenia infact if anything my nose completely skips the top notes and goes straight for the heart. The bottom notes are Vanilla, Musk and White woods, which would explain why I like this so much good old Musk!

A firm favourite with a lot of people these days, at one point this was my distinct smell and family and friends could tell I was coming before I even walked through the door. This perfume is extremely potent too much and it's over baring but still absolutely beautiful this one is the Parfume which I prefer as the smell lasts for such a long time, I still have scarf's that the scent lingers on in my wardrobe from years ago. It's described a floral, woody and amber scent which I totally agree with it's even a little bit on the masculine side but in a strong female way. This has always been and always will be a staple in my perfume wardrobe.

So there it is! I hope you liked this type of posts,

My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream

Afternoon beauties!

I feel like such a naughty blogger, I'm finally getting back into the swing of things now as I've been so busy the last few months I moved out of my family home and into my own flat with my fiance, and then we had to wait a whole 2 months for internet it was crazy but I'm back and ready to blog!

I received this sunflower cream when I first moved out and now I feel it's time I write about it! My Trusty Little Sunflower Cream was developed in sailsburys district hospital and is still made there in the hospital pharmacy for people recovering from burns and plastic surgeries. The cream itself is 95% natural containing 5% sunflower oil which the patents at the hospital loved, and so did the nurses. It's not tested on animals and is parben free.

First off I want to say how gorgeous is the packaging, so bright a cheerful I can imagine this type of thing would be perfect in a hospital and could really brighten anyone's day. The sunflower on the front adds a real brightness and a great indicator as to what's in there! Upon opening the tube I expected to be hit with the smell of lavender as everyone knows it's normally unmistakable and very strong but I was pleasantly surprised to find it is an extremely diluted scent in fact it more reminds me of a  E45 scent or similar.

The texture is a little lumpy but I kind of expected that as the cream replaces essential fatty acids. I apply this all over my face, then allow it sink in, I then admire how lovely and smooth my skin feels and looks and apply my primer, this works beautifully on it's own and beautifully under make-up too!

100% of profits made from this cream regenerates back to customer care what's not to love about it?

The Perfect Chocolate Cupcake.

Hey beauties,
If you follow me on twitter or instagram you will know that I caught the baking bug pretty hard.. So I thought I would share with you my favourite cupcake recipe so far. Of course all ovens and things will differ so just do what seems appropriate for yours. This is a super easy an non-complicated recipe!

100grams Self Raising Flour
20grams Cocoa Powder
100grams Caster Sugar
1tsp Vanilla(optional)
40grams un-salted better at room temp
120ml Milk (any you like I used semi-skimmed)
1 Egg
Handful or so of chocolate chips

Step one - Put Flour, Cocoa powder, sugar and butter into a bowl and mix until combined.
Step two - In a measuring jug add milk, one egg and vanilla mix together so egg is broken up.
Step three - add to flour mixture and mix until just combined, add chocolate chips and mix in.
Step four - divided mixture between twelve cupcake cases
Step five - My oven is quite high and they bake well at 150 fan, but most recipes say 200 fan which is far far to high for mine, It might be the same for you or it might be in the middle of both! Just watch them carefully and adjust as needed. Remove after 20 minutes.
Step Six - Remove from tray, allow to cool and then eat!

Okay, so saying they are 'perfect' is a big statement, but in all honesty you only have to look at the photo's to see how yummy they are! You could of course add some frosting but to be frank with you, they are utterly delicious on there own!

Hope you enjoyed! Something again a little different from me!
Happy bank holiday,

Garden Trading Wishlist

Garden Trading Wish List

Have you caught the baking bug?
I certainly did! I've gone baking mad. At the moment I've moved on from cakes & cookies and expanded to bread who knows what I'll bake next. While I was browsing the beautiful items John Lewis has to offer I came across their Garden Trading section which I later found out have their own website HERE. It was love at first sight, the gorgeous duck egg blue tones and classic but really beautiful items had me swooning! I think if it was possible I would only furnish our flat with their products, as they don't only do baking items, but everything from home, garden and lighting. Take a look and I promise you won't be disappointed!

Have you spotted Garden Trading yet?

Kardashian Beauty - Sheer Joy Tinted Lip Balm Duo

Berry Kiss                                                                                      Cherry Kiss

Hello beauties,
It's been awhile hasn't it, I'm not going into much detail about why as I will be typing up a whole other post about 'moving'.

BUT I thought I would kick it off with something I have adored since the moment I brought them, I've always been so intreged by the Kardashian Beauty range and when I spotted these on the FeelUnique website I had to grab them you can grab them HERE

The packaging is so pretty and girly, the duo come encased in a cute cardboard box, I'd say the lip balms themselves are in similar size to a chap stick. The berry kiss lipbalm is one of my all time favourites, it smells so fruity and tastes amazing! once applied to the lips it gives a gorgeous berry tint which also once worn for a long time it leaves a lovely stain.
Cherry kiss on the other hand doesn't really smell of cherries which I was slightly dissapointed with, more of a fruity smell but not one I can pinpoint. It leaves your lips with a gorgeous baby pink tint that also has a lovely glossy texture!

I find both of these lip balms moisturising and non-sticky when applied, they also keep my lips well hydrated and soft, they really are practical and one of those items you will put in your bag or make-up bag and constantly use, no need for a mirror as the colour pay off is so sheer!
