Rimmel Scandleyes Mascara

I know, I know, It's been a while hasn't it? Slacking is the word of the day. I just haven't had the time to blog recently as life had just gone from doing nothing to doing everything! I'm not complaining but I do miss my little blog!

While I was in boots the other day I was wondering round genuinely having a good old mooch as I haven't in a long time when I can across this mascara the bright orange packaging drew me in the most and the fact that it states no clumps as I have tiny lashes and clumps don't look attractive.

I just wish I opened the mascara before I brought it and looked at the brush, who else has made that mistake!? as the brush is so so big. I find it super hard to grasp my short layers and get a nice even application but once I've applied it super carefully the outcome is lovely. No length is added but for me it's not always important, once built up it doesn't look clumpy or patchy just voluminous and natural. The longevity of the mascara is also good and it doesn't flake! Yay!

What mascara would you recommend for short straight lashes?

  1. I really didn't like this either and I have long lashes! Max Factor Masterpiece is fab as it captures every lash, and the brush isn't too big.

  2. The brush of this mascara terrifies me! It's huge! I really like YSL shocking mascara, it's the best mascara I've ever used xx

  3. Such a brush definitely sounds hard to work with! But I'm glad the end result is worth it :).

  4. I'm actually a fan of big brushes, perhaps I have wide eyes or something!? Ha! Rimmel mazzies are super affordable. <3
