L'oreal Super Liner - Ultra Precision - Eye Liner.

Happy Sunday beauties, I hope your all well seeing as the lighting in my room was really nice this afternoon I thought I would try my new camera out, I've been so nervous about using it in blogpost as I feel like I set my standards for myself really high! but alas, I am very happy! What do you think?

On to the Eye liner! I was browsing superdrug looking for the new L'oreal eye liner called the 'blockbuster' it looks so very interesting but the nib reminds me of a fat felt tip pen and I was a little wary of it  (I know i'll pick it up at some point though!) I then picked up this little love L'oreal actually do a really large range of eye liner similar to this one and they are a really great price too! This one was only £6 something, fabulous.

The eye liner itself is easy to line with, and by line I mean draw a nice thin line. It's super black, nice and pigmented which I love in a eye liner I really don't like having to go over and over to get a nice opaque black line. It's also really easy to make a flick. The nib does look a little daunting as it's not a normal nib it's rather long and looks as thought it could be made with a almost foam texture nib but you use it just like you would any other eye liner. It also last for a long time with no moving and transferring! My only down side to this eyeliner would have to be that the nib doesn't hold too much product you do have to dip and shake a few times for each eye, but if you can see past that then it pays off as a great all round eyeliner!

Have you tried any l'oreal eyeliner?

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr - Pink Gold

Happy Saturday Beauties!

Today I thought I would talk to you about one of my new favourites, I featured this in my monthly favourites because it is amazing. I really love using this the ease of it is just phenomenal. You can use your finger or a brush pat it on and pat it on your eyelid. Job's done and job's a goodun'

The colour it's self looks daunting in the pot its a pink gold but it's a little lilac looking too I was worried this wouldn't look good with my pale skin, but upon application I realised that it look great, It's a really warm toned pink which I think would suit people who like a bronze or brown eye shadow. It also last all day and would make a fabulous eye shadow base.

Have you tried this one yet? What your favourite?

bareMinerals Marvellous Moxie Lipstick - Never Say Never

Good afternoons beauties! this is the lipstick I spoke about in my last post,  I was lucky enough to win two Marvellous Moxie products from two different competitions, One lip gloss and One Lipstick. This is Never Say Never.

Could this be any  more of a Barbie pink? It's so so so pretty. It's moisturising while still being long lasting, It's effortlessly east to apply and the pigmentation is out of this world its completely even so there is no need to go over and over this is perfect the way it is. I also love the fancy packaging of the lipstick I don't know if you can see but in the second photo there is a small silver circle? well you actually push this downwards to open the lipstick top then to close, you pop the lip back on a push it back up. Very fancy.

Overall I'm in love with this lipstick. I can't wait for a lovely sunny day so that I can wear it! You can buy it HERE from the bareMinerals website.

bareMinerals Marvellous Moxie Lip gloss - Oh So Cosmo

I've been a lucky bunny recently, I've won quite a few beauty items in competitions. Including this Marvellous Moxie Lip gloss (which I think was specially made for cosmo magazine.) and I also won a Marvellous Moxie Lipstick in a different competition but more on that in another post!

I'm not the biggest of Lip gloss fans, Find me one that isn't a tiny little bit sticky? You can't the less sticky it is the more it becomes a shiny 'balm' not gloss. This one is no exception but it is beautiful. The formula is light and still sticky, but the small amount of colour pay off is so flattering and not 'too much', Although it does look as though the colour sits in creases this doesn't make a difference to the over-all appearance which is glossy. Gorgeously glossy! I've never had a Lip gloss that shines like this baby. I do love a good shine it makes my all ready plump lips that little bit plumper. It also has a lovely smell, minty but a little creamy maybe ever chocolatey its a hard one to describe but its very similar to a lot of the 'plumping' lip glosses that give you fish lips but this lovely one comes without the awful sting.

Although I can't find 'Oh so cosmo' online maybe they only made them for the comp? You can find a ton of other gorgeous colours HERE.

Over all I'm really happy to have this in my collection now. I'll just wear it on days I have my hair up!
Jobs a good'un.

Mini Body Shop Haul #1

Is it strange before now that I have never really looked into The Body Shop? Everyone raves on about it and I have dabbled in the past but I've never really brought something or I have and just not used it. What was I thinking? My lovely fiancé treated me to a few bits a few weekends ago and I really wish I had done it sooner!

 Shea Body Butter.

I'm not intirly sure what made me pick this up, as I am a real strong fruit smelling lover, I love things that smell and last a really long time, But I picked this up and I'm so glad it did. The aroma is very mild with a little bit of a nutty undertone but its very pleasant. The thing I love most about this body butter is how it feels on the skin, as soon as it goes on it literally feels like silk. I've never used another butter or another body lotion that feels so so silky and so moisturising. The only thing I will say if you apply too much (you really don't need a lot,) then you might be left with an almost powdery feeling. Over all, I'm in love!

 Grapefruit Lip Butter.

I think everyone and their dog has used one of these at some point. I definitely have used them before but a good few years ago, and it just got chucked into the back of the drawer. I picked this one up as Matt LOVES the grapefruit smell and so do I, It's really zingy and uplifting. The Lip butter itself, leaves the tinyiest amount, if any colour on the lips but is incredibly moisturising and lovely. The smell is strong enough so after applying you can smell it on your lips! I apply this every night before I go to sleep and I wake up with lovely soft lips!

I would love to explore this brand further is there anything you lovelies recommend?

Glossybox June 2013

Hello beauties,
This was my first Glossybox, as an anniversary gift my lovely fiancé brought me a 3 month subscription, the good egg that he is! I was a little disappointed when people were say they weren't impressed with theirs, I on the other hand really like my box although I see nothing to do with summer inside.

I have yet to use the Organic surge for dry skin and might even pass this on too my fiancé as it doesn't smell to feminine and he does have a few dry patches, I was really happy too see a full size product though! I also LOVE the Figs and Rouge lip balm and I won't go into too much detail as I want to review this in the next few weeks its another full sized too! I also like the nails inc nail polish and the full sized Helen E lip liner but the colours looks more suited to the autumn winter. The only thing I wasn't impressed with is the Paul Mitchell curl creams, as I've got straight. straight hair that refuses to hold a curl!

All in all I am really happy with this box! Although I would of love to try the Nuxe dry oil.

Did you get the same as me in your box or something different? I would love to know!
P.S I've just realised in the top photo I've put 2012, what a doughnut.

P.P.S Don't forget that GFC is leaving us soon so if you like my blog please follow me via. Blog Lovin' so you can keep up-to date with my posts :)

Maybelline Colour Sensation Popstick - Pink Lollipop

Happy Sunday beauties!

I'm so excited to share this beautiful Popstick with you! I was browsing on Fragrance Direct as we bloggers often do, when I came across the Maybelline Colour Sensation Lipsticks I know these aren't new to the party and people love them but I've never tried them, So I picked up this one 'Pink Lollipop' and I got such a huge surprise when I opened to find this little gem, It's from the 'Popstick' collection(I've never seen this in store.) and I think there is 4-5 others! I'm so in love with how it looks. Neon pink with a silver shimmer running through. I also really like the fact that its almost see through, It really is lovely to look at!

The formula it's self is more like a balm then it is a lipstick, the texture is smooth and soft, not at all sticky and you can't feel any of the shimmer when its on your lips, the colour transfer is very fine but the longer I had it on I noticed it was almost leaving a stain like appearance. I also really liked the fact that it was moisturising and left an amazing gloss it really was very shiny.

Overall I'm so happy with this product! I love everything about it and the price was amazing at only £1.99 from fragrance direct! Perfect!

Have you tried any of the Maybelline Colour Sensations?

Dove Summer Glow - Gradual Tan Review

Hello beauties,
I've never been a fake tanner or any type of tanner, I'm a pale girl with a pink undertone which I really do love but I was getting a little fed up of hiding my legs away when I was wearing summer dresses! So I've decided to divulge in a few gradual tans, This was the first one I picked up as I'd never seen it before and upon opening the bottle it smelt a really lovely sweet/floral smell and I think its was around the £2.60 mark (on offer) so I snapped it up!

When applying this gradual tan I found it was surprisingly easy to move around especially as some who had never applied any tan of any type I was so worried about the 'application' and the the 'outcome' It started to develop  almost straight away but very subtle. I then let it dry for around a hour (cautious Carly over here.) and then put my pj's on and let it do its thing over night. When I woke up I took the photo above!

I honestly couldn't of been more impressed. I really love the colour outcome and it really gets rid on the pink tone in my skin. I don't perticually enjoy having a tan as I've spent the last 20 years looking like Caspers girlfriend but I do however love people telling me I look 'healthy' for the first time, ever. I also put this on lightly for the next 2 nights and it looked great maybe a little bit too dark so I think once a week is enough for me. The only downside? The smell, My mum remarked that I smelt like 'soggy biscuits' Lovely and sadly un-avoidable. If I could find a gradual tanner that didn't have that smell but worked like this one I would be one happy chappy!

Nails Inc - Sprinkles Trio

Hello beauties! A few weeks ago I was contacted and asked if I would like to review some nail polish, So of course I said yes as I love to review and take photos of nail polish! I have no idea why! So here's my review of the new Nails Inc Nail Sprinkles Trio.

 Topping Lane,

This is a gorgeous pink nail polish with Silver, Purple and Dark red sprinkles. 2 Coats of this nail polish should suffice. I also think this nail polish would look stunning on holiday!

 Sweets Way,

A gorgeous very light blue base containing Silver, Copper and Bright blue sprinkles. 2 coats looks okay, but for full opacity I would go for 3.

 Sugar House Lane,

I love this nude based polish, I would be perfect for a job interview or something similar as it isn't in you face bright and shiny but It is still interesting and different to a normal plain nail varnish. This little beauty contains Black and Sliver sprinkles perfect in two coats as the base is darker then the others.

The reason I like these nail polishes is as they contain pretty little sprinkles it also means they will last a good few days before chipping. Another thing I like about them is the uniqueness, You don't often come across nail polishes that look like this but they really are interesting and a great ice breaker/talking point. They all however will need a top coat as the sprinkles make it a little bumpy.

If you would like to purchase these pretties they are actually at an great introductory price at the moment so snap them up while you can! HERE.

What's your favourite Nails inc nail polish?

Deborah Milano

Happy Saturday beauties,
I was contacted by the lovely people at Deborah Milano to review a lipstick*, I quickly said yes, I love lipstick!

Deborah Milano isn't a new company and in fact it started in 1907! Amazing right? I couldn't be happier the second I opened this lipstick it was love. The packaging is a metallic slightly mirrored gold with the Deborah Milano name on the lid. The lipstick itself is stamped with the signature motif which is imprinted into a majority of their cosmetics, This gives it a real high end look and feel. The texture is smooth, really moisturising and easy to apply. The colour is bright, pigmented and just beautiful. It really does feel like a high end lipstick and the best thing about it is it only cost £8.50! Amazing.

If you would like to purchase this lipstick(It will be difficult not too) or just have a look around then feel free to click HERE.

Have you tried anything from Deborah Milano yet?

*this product was sent to me for review, all opinions  are 100% my own

Maybelline SuperStay 24hr - Peach Cocktail

Hello beauties, I'm so excited to share this post with you I first heard about this little gem from the lovely Ashly she really raved about it so I had to pick it up. I also pick up the color tattoo when I picked this up as it was buy one get one half price in boots, not sure if that deal is still on though!

The packaging is easy to use, use and incredibly easy to work out, You first put on the coloured side then wait for it to dry and apply the balm and it last forever, I wore mine for a good 9 hours at the weekend in which I ate, drank and kissed(it didn't transfer either hehe) it didn't budge not once did I have to re-apply. The trick to using this lipstick is apply a nice even, thinish layer and try and get it as even as possible in the first go as it dries really fast, once it dries re applying can become difficult as it lifts the product and causes creasing BUT master the first part and you are good to go all day long!

I chose the colour Peach Cocktail as I wasn't feeling a bright bright colour (very unlike me) and it's so pretty but their really is a huge selection of colours to choose from something for everyone.  I really highly recommend it for everyone!
